Connectivity speed issue - connecting to Exchange 2007 using Outlook Anywhere (RPC over HTTP).
Article
If you are having problems with Outlook 2007 connecting to Exchange 2007 using Outlook anywhere (RPC over HTTP), eg the initial connection speed takes almost 30 seconds, and makes outlook un-useable during that period, then amend your connection settings.
Enabling "On fast networks, connect using HTTP first, then connect using TCP/IP" and setting the manual control connection state to "connect with the network" massively increases connection speed.
If you have any further questions or problems, then please raise a support ticket. Alternatively please contact Technical Support on 0845 121 8363 - we are open Mon to Fri 9am to 5.30pm.
